    Dennis Manns' responsibilities include Sales Planning for both the Honda and Acura Divisions and Logistics Planning and Operations for all Honda and Acura North American and port facilities. In 2006, Dennis was promoted into his current position, however his prior positions included Acura National Sales, Honda Marketing and Dealer Relations and Communications. Dennis joined Honda in 1984. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Dayton.

    Michael Nelson has spent more than 30 years in US automotive logistics. He started his career working with automotive carriers and is now in his 13th year with Toyota. In his current role, he is responsible for all aspects of the contracts and operations for Toyota’s US highway carriers.

    Evelyn leads the centralized function of procurement, material planning and logistics for Tesla, for all products designed and manufactured by Tesla. Prior to joining Tesla, Evelyn served in several positions with SAP AG. Throughout her 19-year career, Evelyn has held various roles in operations, consulting and business development. Evelyn earned her bachelor's degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

    After graduating with a Degree in Economics, with its focus on logistics, Markus spent six years with an international forwarding company, completing his time as Manager, International Division, and then five years with Smart as Supervisor, Outbound Logistics. He has spent the last four years at Daimler, and as of January 2009 in the US with MBUSA in his current role. Markus has undertaken international assignments in the US, Netherlands, Germany and led various Finished Vehicle logistics projects in Europe, Brazil and Japan.

    Walter Lowe is a career supply chain/material management professional with 30 years of combined experience in the aerospace and automotive manufacturing sectors. In his current position he is responsible for all elements of finished vehicle distribution from every North America vehicle assembly facility, to a dealer network of more than 4,000.
    He successfully completed a course with Ford Motor Company's Lean Learning Academy, focusing on efficient manufacturing concepts and techniques.

    Anthony has over ten years of experience in the area of automotive supply chain management, with a primary focus on finished vehicle logistics. In his current assignment, Anthony is responsible for supervising the General Motors North America finished vehicle network operations. Anthony received his B.A. in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University in 1999.

    Nathan Porter has spent twelve years within the finished vehicle logistics space, working for both Vector SCM and General Motors. In his current assignment, Nathan is responsible for all aspects of North American and Intercontinental Vehicle Logistics Operations. Prior to this, Nathan served as Manager, Network Design & Information Systems and Manager, Logistics Purchasing.

    Julie Krehbiel manages the vehicles and parts business for Union Pacific, generating $1.4 billion of annual revenue.
    Since joining UP in 1988, Krehbiel has held a number of sales and marketing positions, including account responsibility for Chrysler, General Motors, Nissan and Toyota at various times.

    Pete earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration/Transportation Management from the State University of New York Maritime College. From there he began his logistics career working for Mobil, before joining DSR Senator Lines. In 1997 Peter joined Kia Motors America. In 2001 Peter joined Mercedes-Benz USA in the Vehicle Logistics Department and has held positions of increasing responsibility. He has an MBA in Finance from Pepperdine University and has retired from the US Navy Reserve as Lieutenant Commander.

    Scott Goodwin’s experience in finished vehicle transportation and logistics spans over a 17-year career. He has held positions of progressive responsibility in quality assurance and network operations in the highway auto transportation and 3PL/OEM sectors.

    Ron joined the Port of San Diego in June 30, 2003 as the Senior Director of the Maritime Division at the Port of San Diego. He recently was named by the Port to his new position as Asst. VP, Industry & Trade Relations after five years as the Senior Director of Maritime. Ron is a 37-year veteran of the international shipping and the port industry. He began his career in the private sector in 1972 in San Francisco, California and worked for 21-years in line management, sales/marketing, and administration with several steamship agencies and ocean carriers.

    In 1993, he changed his career path to the port industry and joined the Port of Grays Harbor in Aberdeen, Washington and served as Director of Marketing and Director of Business Services. He joined the Port of Galveston, in Galveston, Texas in 1998 and served as Deputy Port Director, Director of Marketing and Acting Port Director until 2000 when he became Director of Marketing for the Port of Sacramento in Sacramento, California.

    Ron received his B.A. in Government in 1969 and Elementary Teaching Credential in 1970 from Sacramento State College, and his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California in 1978. He received certification from the American Association of Port Authorities as Professional Port Manager (PPM) in 2002.

    Steven Rand has been engaged in the international transportation industry for most of his professional career. His experience includes both the container and auto trades, and spans the shipper, ocean carrier and intermodal sectors. Rand was appointed CEO of AMPORTS January 1st 2008. Prior to that he was an Executive with CSX Intermodal in Jacksonville Fla. Rand is a graduate of the University of New Haven with a Bachelor of Science in Communications and Business and has competed the Columbia University Emerging Leaders program.

He then started selling Boydstun Trailers in 2002 until its closure in May 2009. He began his current role in June 2009.

Mr. Farrell serves as an advocate for the automobile transporters not only within the trucking industry but also in the halls of Congress and before various federal regulatory agencies.
